It is what Paul said and then later John. The Book of John was writen after Paul.

Jesus said you had to love god and love your neighbor which summs up all the law. Since he also said you have to keep all the law to get into heaven, it follows that the command to get into heavne is to love god and yoyr neighbor.

Nothing is said about the faith that Christ died for oyr sins. That he did. But do not beat it to death. That is not the faith that Christ wants. He wants love.

You should not boost about your achievements, like being a minister, etc. But a life devoid of good works is a wasted life. You will have to live it all over again and do it right.
