: I want to try grinding 8" mirror for a dobsonian. : I've got several step-by-step txts on how to do it. : They all suggest buying a mirror grinding kit, but I : am able to get all I need elsewhere. : I've decided to use #80,#120,#220,#500,12micron and : 9micron grits, but I don't know how much I need for : grinding one mirror. : Can anyone tell me how much the kits contain of each : of the grit-sizes, or how much (high approx.) I need : to grind a 8" mirror.

: Any help appreciated.
