Got a 8"F8 with the seagreen pvc and it's HEAVY! openframed it with some cutouts and it's now a liftable scope tube. Just weighed the tube assy. and it came in at a lightweight 67lb. ready for viewing. Not a lightweight by any means. Are you ready for weight lifting then by all means use the material, otherwise just make sure the spider has a solid ring to work against and use something else.
