I would advise against it. It has been done before. It is indeed agood material to use for a scope. It's strong and durable, but....it also keeps heat from escapiing and and the pipe itself takes forever to cool off. Heat rolls of fiberglass much quicker. PCV pipe can work, but I wouldn't want to stand for 3 or 4 hours for the heat to roll off. I have read another disatvantage of using this, but can't remember what.
