Hi, I wud like to construct my own first Dob from the very basic, and grind my primary. I was thinking of doing a 10" mirror. What materials should i use, eg what grit #? Why can't i use sandpaper? Should the tool be convex from the start? (Robert MAy suggested the use of an iron pipe> what exactly do i need to have and do?)
