I assume you are building a truss-tube mount? Thin wall Al tubing is great for this, but there are a few gotchas... The really thin wall stuff canbe hard to find. The ticker walls can be easier to find, and cheaper, but increase weight - which can change the balance requirements for your mirror box. Just FYI on those - post if you need more info. In terms of finding the stuff, I've had prety good success with Electrical Supply houses. I thing AstroSystems still supplies these as well. Their address is: http://www.frii.com/~astrosys/
