I got my mirror last night and started grinding. I've got a ten-inch and it's 1.75" thick. I'm planning to make it f/6. And if my calculations are correct, I'll need to grind it 1/8 of an inch. now here is the problem. I've reached my required sagitta, and the whole mirror isn't grey yet. What I'm saying, is that the pits don't go all the way to the chamfer (bevel). I'm thinking that now I should use the normal stroke and alternate the mirror and tool. Is this right? Am I doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!! thankyou for your time and comments! -J. Suback
