Absolutely agree. Would even take it a step further. The HVHC is worth the effort, for rigidity alone. The plans you refer to I also followed (see link below for the story) and debated this same issue withmyself for a long time. Right up until I didn't have any more time to debate. Then I went with the good stuff. Am VERY happy with the choice. It allows a much smaller, lighter, and more rigid mirror box - which is the focal point (pardon the pun) of the whole assembly. Other parts can be made of lesser material, but I'd not want to go back to anything less for the MB itself. Now, BTW: youmaybe able to get the local supplier to bring the stuff in for you, saving you a drive. I did. Didn't even charge me extra! Anywho.. that's my $.02. Post updates! Would love to follow along!
