Why do you want to get inside? The optics on that instrument should be essentially waterproof. If you have something inside, I would suggest that you send it to a qualified repairman as someone who doesn' know how to do the work can quickly destroy the instruments accuracy and thus it's value to you. The outside may be cleaned with alcohol and a gentle swab.
