Thanks for the help. After doing a good research on which telescope is best for me, I think I have decided to go for the best that I can afford. I am looking into buying the cardioptric type of telescope. I also would like to go into astrophotography later on. The telescopes that I am interested in are the Meade 8" LX50 and the Celestron Celestra 8" Delux. Both can be computerized later if needed. Do you think these are good compared to the ones you recommended? Also can you recommend me the best mail dealers out there. I found that the Celestron costs 1800 dollars. The Meade costs roughly the same. I think there are better prices out there but haven't found one yet. Thanks for your help.
