I have heard of people using sap out of decidous trees or something like that. Might try it if you want to really save money?? Also, Newport Glass works sells beeswax, pitch, grit and other ATM materials : : : Go to the Willmann-Bell site. They have Everything you need. : : : And at decent prices. You might also want to get thier catalog. : : Willmann-Bell is a Book publisher, they don't carry telescope making supplies. : Actually, they do. I thought they just did books as well until I got their new catalog...they have 5 pages of ATM supplies including mirror grinding kits and components.
