: Does anyone have any insight on making rotating rings? : My 6" and 8" scopes are a bit of a pain to adjust in : their current setup and commercial rings are a bit pricey! : Thanks, : Eric *** If your saddle is wide enough to keep the tube stable in the horizontal position then you can hold the tube in place with two rubber tie downs, then when you want to rotate the tube just unhook the tie downs, rotate the tube and reset the tie downs this arangement will set you back about eight dollars... |
