: I would like to build a cassegrain type telescope. I find mostly information on newtonions. Is it too difficult to set up a cassegrain? Any sugestions are appreciated. : Thanks. I am also considering a Cassegrainian telescope design. I located a source for optics in Flagstaff, Arizona called Star Instruments. They will sell you a setup of f/15 10inch optics for just under $2,000. This sound like a whole lot, but this is a professional optics make with all the good testing equipment. John |
