Hello, I have an old telescope, which is rusted on the edge of the lens. May I know how to clean it? I asked some experts, and they said the lens is made by quartz glass and can be cleaned by acid. From the website http://www.quartzlab.com I found the quartz glass products are cleaned by acid at last. This is workable, but I'm not sure whether this will damage the mount. Any advice?
