Hi there.

In the preparationof making my own dobson telescope I have encountered a little problem. I live in Costa Rica... and the maximum thickness in the country is 0.75 inch (19 mm). My question is.... can I use this thickness as a mirror blank... or will I run into complicated problems... taking into consideration it will be the first glass pushing experience I will enjoy.

Importing a mirror blank will be the other option... but looking at my very poor budget... It will postpone significantly my plans....

Any sollutions or remarks are welcome...Thanks...
