Sandpaper To Grit!

Please consider that a sheet of sandpaper is not cheap. You will end up buying, burning and sorting out a whole box of sandpaper (you need to get the more expensive Silicon Carbide paper rather than the cheap Garnett paper!) to get a $4 pound of 80 grit in a bottle from one of the suppliers of loose grit.
In addition, for the sizes of 120 and coarser, the local abrasives place has the stuff all ready for sandblasting and, while it isn't of the "quality" of the finer grits, the cheap stuff will work quite fine as you are merely trying to get a hole dug and pits shrunk with the larger sizes of the grit.
