: Is there a trick or tip to cutting Formica accurately without chipping it? The way that I know about is using a router with a small bit. This is how the stuff is cut (very carefully at that) to make tops, etc. Also note that it is backed up with something stiff. You may want to use some double sided tape to hold it down before doing the routing. Good Luck. Bob May
