Dave,
If you wish to use them, yes they are polishing pads, clean the tiles wirh a degreaser, I just used alcohol, let it dry then stick the pads to it, set it on the mirror and place some weight to help with adheasion.
now when I did mine I cut pieces out of each petal and fit them on the tiles, im not sure if you can just stick them on over the grooves or not, i doubt they would stick good that way,but then again maybe they would.
