Does any one out there have, or know where I can locate a good used or new 8"-F6.9 or an F7 mirror for sale? Fairly cheap.I'm new to astronomy + don't have a lot of money. I bought an old Meade reflector scope that was probally made in the late 70's or early 80's .I bought it for $100.00 . It came with everything, except the main mirror. The guy wanted to keep the 8" F 6.9 mirror to make a dobsonian out of it.I understand a F6.9 would be hard to find , a F7 will probably have to do.Maybe I'll only be able to locate one that needs to be recoated ?
