working on my first 8" mirror and am trying to determine if i am ready to move on te the next grit. i am doing a pencil test (paralles lines and more perpendicular to those, then rubbing the tool and mirror (dry) together) and am noticing only a small amount of wear on the edge of themirror. the bubble distribution appears ok when i am grinding though. can i move on? does anyone do this pencil test? (ka: sharpie test.)
