Hello to all,

I am currently building a 10" Dob. I have built everything but the tube assembly. The plans Im using is from TIE (telescope in education), or something like that. Right now i am contemplating wether to make or purchases mirrors.
I'm leaning more towords purchasing from Orion (f/4.7) w/ a 1.85 or 2.05 secondary. Since this is my first time I belive I will purchase (any suggestions for other mirrors @ reasonable $)Using newt25, I am lost when it comes to secondary size, 1.85 is too small and 2.05 is 21% of primary (focuser will be 2 11/16" racked-in)w/ 12" sonotube. My other problem is I don't like the primary mounting instructions. If i'm reading this right the primary mirror rests on those blocks and floats in the tube (rests on the tail gate) Is this correct. please advise

Thanks,
Great web site
Clear skies to all,
Dimitri
