Wow a 55mm, that drops your magnification to 25x, is that not a bit low for a 10", but then again, if it works....
under the norms of newt it shows mirror face to focuser center(3" high racked in,with .5" spare travel,2" focuser) to be 46.375, with no vignetting,higher then 3" racked in and you will get vignetting,so if focuser is 3" or lower racked in it will work but then I doubt that 55mm would work.
