Grinding A Secondary

It would be better for you to get a smaller mirror rather than grind that one down.
You need to grind the glass down at the 45 deg. angle and also get the right elliptical shape to the mirror. The mirrors are originally trepanned at a 45 deg. angle which makes the shape automatically.
I'll also note that .3" is a fair bit of material to take off a piece of glass and this will take some time.
