greetings, i am new i atm'ing and will be starting a mirror making class soon. i am looking to get a mirror kit and noticed that newport glass carries both educational kits as well as just kits. i assume the fundamental difference between the two is that the edu kit comes with a pregenerated curve. i guess this means that some of the hogging out has already been done. is the way to go? i don't want to short change myself and miss some of the steps involved (even if it is just sweat) which i will certainly want when i go to make another and i am not in a class.

thanks
scott
