Making The Parabola.

Most articles and books dealing with mirror grinding go to some lengths describing the strokes used to generate a parabola. Basically, you start doing a W stroke of some longer length and the center starts getting more work done on it than the edges and you end up with something sort of parabolic the first time around and you then modify the stroke to bring out the parabola. |
