Given the success of the Meade CCD EP, you may want to reconsider the purchase. The Meade ones are available fairly cheap on eBay and it would be better to get one of them rather than the color one.
FWIW, CCDs running at the video rate just don't have that deep of a range to be able to see anything much in the sky. Very large scopes (the Hooker scope was used once to image Saturn for a occultation and that was barely large enough to do the job well.
