: Sorry, but the guy that I was thinking of is americian : and he was popular around RTMC in the early days, I think. : I think that the scope was a 4 or 5" primary and had just a hook : for the secondary that folded down to the primary area. Ian, Robert and David: Maybe we`re talking about Mr. Robert Edward Cox (Bob Cox), featured in Telescope Making #40. His "twitcher" telescope apears on page 37. It seems to be a 3" cassegrain, appr. 12" long. Good skies for all! |
