Help With Mirror Grinding Machine

I've come into possession of a old mirror grinding machine (at least
that's how it was described to me) that I purchased at an estate sale
and I've been trying to figure out what kind it is and how to setup
the blank/tool combination on the spindle assembly. I've posted a few
pictures of the machine on my website and they can be viewed by the
following links:

Thanks in advance for any hints/advice.

Clear skies...

Mike
