Andy, the only thing I see is maybe you would want a slightly larger diagonal to give a larger 100% illum field. I have an 8" f/6 that uses a 1.64" diag and it works very nicely. Not a BIG difference but you could go up to 1.83 without really sacrificing image quality that you could readily see.
