| Odd F/ratio Mirrors

Hi, I've been looking for an 8" f/4.5 to f/5 mirror for quite some time now and I haven't had any luck. Are there any amateurs who make such mirrors for others on a part- or full-time basis? It looks like I'm not going to have any luck finding a company that will make such a mirror. Please don't suggest that I try my own hand at mirror making as this won't solve my problem. I'm pretty busy any more to devote the time necessary, and more importantly, my efforts at trying to grind a 6" f/12 several years ago were unsuccessful. I have no more desire to try my hand at grinding a mirror. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me. Ken |
