Threaded Inserts (Australia)?

Can any one in Australia help out? I'm looking for the threaded
inserts used by Berry and Kriege in there book The Dobsonian telescope. For those without the book they are circular flower shaped item, slightly concave made of thin metal. They have a center with a threaded hole. The idea begin when pushed into the hollow tube they become more concave but hold strongly against the tube wall so you can put a centered screw in to hold the tube against a flat surface i.e. ring of secondary cage. At worst I could try and make some, but
hopefully some one out there can help me.

Sincerely Greatfull,
Eddie.
