I am in the market for a good Dobsonian telescope. I am looking to spend under $2000 or so. I would like to have one in the 14 to 16" range. My options are building one or purchasing a commercial scope. I don't have much free time. Just enough to carry the scope out and look. I've been looking at the Celestron dobsonians. They seem to be the highest rated. What largest sized dob is easier to carry outside? Which is more convenient to use among the larger ones?
