What would be the focal ratio of such a system?,
,what sort of telescope?,cass,newtonian?.
instead of cw, what about a pulsed damped wave, capacitive discharge to increase the energy level by many times.
Adaptive optics and optical interferrometry applied to this would be very interesting, still not clear on what your saying,communication with venus at its nearest position to earth?.
