The only thing that I find wrong is using such a small tube for the scope. Best thing is to go find at least a 125mm and preferably larger tube for this. I have a pvc in the 200mm size and it is a heavy bugger! Find something lighter than the PVC. One thing to look at is the Concrete Form tubes that a number of people use. When sealed and painted they are perfect as they adsorb vibrations very well and are light. They will also do an excellent job of providing room for doing baffling. Bob May
