Thanks, Bob. I saw the diffraction ring and didn't let it confuse me. I sweated over the foucault image and couldn't figure out anything but TUE to account for it. In the ronchi test the lines are not perfectly straight (not a perfect sphere) and the ends are kinda hard to see. Should the ends hook toward the center if there's TUE? I havn't seen this anywhere on the web.
