Foucault Image

I have nearly polished out all the strangness produced by polishing pads on my 10" f/5. I probably have tde from too much tot trying to remove pits that were actually ripple. It's close to spherical, but not perfect. Ronchi lines hook away from vertical center. But the foucault image has me confused. Knife edge on right at center of curvature the whole mirror fades except the outer zone on the left. It seems to me that the left side would appear lighted and the right would be dark if it had a longer roc. Hope this makes sense to someone. Any advice will be much appreciated.
