Thank you, I have a feeling I'm going to need the luck you wished. My current telescope is an Ultima 8 which I love and intend to keep. (un)Fortunately aperture fever has definitely struck and I'm desperately (literally)trying to figure out how big a telescope I can fit in the back of a Subaru Legacy wagon without putting my back out OR finding I actually can't be bothered to pack it.
Right now the only thing I'm sure of is the new scope is not for photography - I want to "really" see galaxies with my eyes.

Am I insane?
