Thanks Bob, i had thought it would go bad or something over time,.......BTW I was reading on A.T.M Archieves yesterday the easiest way to get rid of a turned down edge was to cut a star pattern out of paper and cold press between lap and tool, and proceed with MoT 1/3 center over center stroke, so being a newbe, I made a evenly pointed 8 point star,(wax paper) 8-1/2 inches at its widest point tip to tip, cold pressed for 1 hour, and tried this, did 1/2 hour, stopped to test, working ......did another 15 minutes and tested again.... and i am amazed, the lines are staightening up real good, the edge is coming back into the focal plan, still have some T.D.E, but very much improved, now i am thinking this, if i go this way a little further my center should drop some what,(hopefully without going to deep) after that i should be able to polish ToT and get rid of this nasty T.D.E.if this does not take it out altogether, Does this in your opinion sound viable....seems to me it should work, what do you think......Thanks
