Have you tried using the scope without your glasses and simply refocusing the scope for your eyes? I'm 59 and have a little astigmitism, but mostly far sighted, and I just focus for me. Others have to learn how to focus the scope!!
I recently purchased a Speers Wahler 10mm eyepiece that has a lot of eyerelief, very wide field, and TACK sharp across the entire field. 139.00 and well worth it!! The use of a barlow is also a good approach recommended by many of the old pro's and especially viable these days with the newer and better glass that some barlows use.
