it all depends on what you want to do with the telescope, are you planing on using a camera, or is it strickly for observing, do you want to look at planets or deep sky objects like galaxies and such, or do you want to look at both, i am presently making a 10", i chose F-6 because it seems to me to be the best all round lenght,i am not planing on using a camera but it should be great for planetary and deep sky viewing. are you making the mirror?
