Hello All,
not quite finished polishing yet, but did a test last night, and here is the result, sitting behind the tester with the light source to my left, knife edge cutting from the right,i have a small (depression i think)in the center of the mirror, at most 1/2 inch in radius,( 1 inch total diameter), which i am assuming is minor. the shadow is on the left side and the right side is bright when cut with knife edge, also there is possibly a partcial raised or depressed ring about 1-1/4 inches out from center, but very very faint,i could not make out the shadow on this so i am not sure which it is..... now mind you i am using the pads to polish, but i am curious...is this center problem a raised or depressed ring, and also should i change my strokes to insure that the problems mentioned do not get worse, your input would be appreciated. Thanks
