Secondary?

It's quite possible to make your own secondary. Actually the easiest process is to make 3 of them at once. Texerau tells how as well as the ATM bookset. Basically, grinding 3 surfaces against each other makes an infinite radius (flat) surface.
Also, there's a lot of plans on the web for making foucault testers for fairly cheap. When I make one, the most expensive single part is the dial indicator which I usually get for about $8 at Harbor Freight. You can also find used dial indicators at used tool stores or even swap meets and yard sales.
