Perfect Tile?

Since I just bury the tiles into the dental stone after the mirror gets hogged out, the only real need is to have a tapered edge so that the stone holds the tiles well. Considering that I've made over 50 tools so far and none of them have had a tile come loose, everything seems to be working quite well.
I might also note that the flat tiles get curved with about 2 or 3 wets of 80 grit to the shape of the mirror.
