Too Small A Diagonal

1.25" is too small for an f/6 10". More like 1.83 minimum and 2.1 would be better.

I made a focuser from a pvc sink fitting but it is very crude. Check some of the web sites for used stuff. Also, JMI sells a 2" and 1.25" crayford kit for less than 100.00 and the quality is superb.
