in fact, it was just sitting in the cabinet of an optical comparator I bought, so it was essentially free. There is a catch of course...and that is, although the top surface appears pristine, it does have a large (2" long x 3/4" x 3/4" est.) break out on the back side at the edge. Others have speculated that this could produce slight geometric changes throughout and therefore alter it's value greatly (like back down to "free" ? :-)) Any thoughts ?
