Hi Im new to the group but have been reading messages for a while.I appreciate all the good info that all of you provide. I also have a 12.5" SC spherical mirror that I bought surplus from the local Air Force Base that was closing several years ago. The mirror was unused and the original spec.sheet/acceptance tag indicated
that it was at least 1/20th wave). It is in perfect condition except that it will need to be recoated. It is a very fast spherical mirror
F.2 The central hole is 2.375" in diameter and the mirror is approx. 2"thick at the edges with a core thickness of 1 1/2 inches.
Unfortunately the matching corrector plate was not available when I bought the primary mirror. I would like to make something out of it
other than a dust catcher or serving tray.I was thinking about having a corrector plate made for a SC,MN or perhaps a Klevzov corrector(like the one used by the TAL 200K design). Any ideas and information as to who could help make a corrector plate/lens would be humbly accepted and greatly appreciated.
