My full thickness 10" weighs about 14 lbs and it is 1 7/8 thick, so a 1.6" would weigh about the same. However, I think the Antares mirrors are thinner, especially if plate glass. I understand they are made in China, which may or may not be a negative. I have bought several items from them, including plate diagonals, and have been pleased with their prices and service. Considering that a 10" f/5 would be usd primarily for deep sky and wider field objects, it should perform satisfactorly. Their prices are certainly inviting.
