Yes, but cardboard is a temporary solution as it will quickly deteriorate with time. Better is to use some plastic (Kydex or other sheet plastic), metal or wood. You do want to have a thin edge or you will get into other problems. You also want to mask at the primary otherwise the masked area will become an effective part of the mirror at the edge of the FOV. |
