Yes, Bob does. He's referring to the sides and back of the mirror. Naturally the front is mild soapy water only. Most of the blanks available nowdays can have some fairly rough surfaces that the CeO can cling tenaciously to, and the scotchbrite would indeed help clean those areas quickly. But, indeed, stay away from the front!!!
