I ordered my kit, 7/8th thick 10" disk, pregenerated to a F-6...now I dont really think a F-6 is a fast scope so I should not have to worry about buying the very expensive eyepieces, but...If lets say I was worried about zonal defects from the heat of my hands, then could I just finish the grinding with the tool on top, and mabey end up with a F-7 ratio, or would I be getting into more trouble by doing this.
seems to me to be an easy way to increase the focal lenght and not have to worry about heating the mirror in certian places... or would I end up with a hole in the middle of the mirror....Tell me what you all think .mabey I'm just nuts , but I am wondering if this would work.....Thanks all.
